Structure Fire 444 Cortez Road Photos

Below in this album is a collection of photos from a residential structure fire at 444 Cortez Road on September 16, 2008 that crews were dispatched just shortly after 9am. The communications center reported multiple calls, an extra engine was requested to the scene with the second alarm assignment being put on standby. Crews arrived with Chief Ligi taking command, finding a moderate smoke condition from an attached garage to a single story residence with no visible fire. Rescue and Engine crews made quick work advancing 2-1¾" lines into the structure to attack the fire. As additional resources arrived, crews went to work with truck company operations, checking for extensions and ventilating. No extension was found into the main residence with only a slight smoke condition throughout the house. Damage was contained to the garage and breezeway. Chief 15-4 had interior operations, Captain 22 had exterior operations, Chief 21 had safety.
