House Demolition Photos

| It didn't take long as members of the Jefferson
Township Fire Company watched the demolition of the structure on the
property, located at 403 Cortez Road. The fire company made the decision
earlier this year to demolish the deteriorating structure that was to
cost the company too much money to make recommended and necessary
improvements to bring the structure up to current codes and also
suitable to generate an income for the fire company. Within nearly 30
minutes of beginning, the heavy machinery had condensed the once two
story, double family, residential dwelling into pieces of wood, now, no
bigger then 12 inches. The demolition of the structure will make way for
more green space for the company and also an expansion onto our
